Resin batch, wire diameter, blank straightness. Rejected lots go back before they touch a line.
Bluefin Tackle started in 2009 with two rod-wrapping benches and one customer in Busan. We now run 18,000 m² in Weihai, and that first customer still orders every season.
The idea was simple: stop buying blanks from whoever had stock that month, and learn to build them. In 2013 we installed our first mandrel line. In 2017 we added the CNC shop so a new lure body would not wait three months behind another factory's queue.
Today we still keep a bench on the floor that does nothing but prototype work. It is the most expensive square metre we own and the reason our sampling runs at 10 days instead of a month.
Published monthly output at normal staffing, not peak-season fantasy numbers.
